ORIGINALLY FROM THE GARDEN STATE, I BEGAN PERFORMING ON STAGE AT AN EARLY AGE, WHEN I BEGAN LEARNING DANCE IN MY MOTHER'S INDIAN DANCE SCHOOL. AS AN ADULT, I'VE PERFORMED ON MANY STAGES ACROSS THE COUNTRY, INCLUDING MADISON SQUARE GARDEN.
AFTER EARNING MY BACHELOR'S DEGREE IN POLITICAL SCIENCE AND PSYCHOLOGY, I TOOK MY FIRST CRACK AT ACTING AT THE STELLA ADLER STUDIO OF ACTING. FROM THAT FIRST DAY OF CLASS, THERE WAS NO LOOKING BACK. ONCE THE KID WHO HAD TO BE DRAGGED OFF THE BASKETBALL COURT, NOW HAS TO BE DRAGGED OFF THE STAGE (WHILE STILL BEING DRAGGED OFF THE BASKETBALL COURTS). FOLLOWING THE STELLA ADLER STUDIO OF ACTING, I STUDIED IMPROV AND SKETCH COMEDY AT THE UPRIGHT CITIZENS BRIGADE AND THE PIT.
IN 2018, I FINISHED A TWO-YEAR MEISNER TECHNIQUE PROGRAM AT PLAYHOUSE WEST BROOKLYN LAB. WHILE STUDYING AT PHW, I WROTE MY VERY FIRST SHORT FILM IN WHICH I ACTED IN AS WELL. MY INSPIRATION FOR THE SHORT FILM WAS TO CREATE A ROLE FOR A SOUTH ASIAN MALE THAT BROKE THE MOLD.
MOST RECENTLY, I STUDIED ACTING WITH ANTHONY ABESON AT ANTHONY ABESON STUDIO, WHERE I ALSO WROTE MY FIRST SCRIPT FOR STAGE.
WHEN I'M NOT DIVING INTO A SCRIPT AS A WRITER OR ACTOR, I'M A PERSONAL TRAINER IN NEW YORK CITY.
